This design was inspired by a TED Talk with transgender actress Nicole Maines, and her words: “We don’t get to focus on -what do we wanna be when we grew up, I don’t even remember. All I remember is that I needed to be a girl, and I couldn’t move on until that was affirmed and validated. I was trapped in gender.”
